This is why I love my friends. They are most definitely fly. Ok, ok I may be partial, but the chicks definitely have style.

Exhibit A. My other roadie, and sista from another mista "Lo", she is working on a vintage inspired clothing line that will feature repurposed clothing into something young, fresh, and new. Chic right? One of a kind items that are also eco-friendly, gotta love it.

Got Me Working Day & Night

Since I have been working feverishly putting this line together, 6-8 hours of sleep have been replaced by power-naps, every color, texture, & shape is an inspiration, and Earl Grey is the new BFF in my life. So this is what it feels like.

My life is definitely hectic right now, would I trade all of this for a position behind a desk? No way, I am an artisan at heart, and a seat shifter to boot. There is nothing more gratifying than watching a piece go from vision to fruition.

The launch date for my jewelry line is August 15th 2009! I am excited, nervous, and gitty, but this is a long time coming dolls! Check out some work-in-progress pictures from my studio below!

Sweet Dreamin'

Sometimes inspiration comes out of nowhere and knocks you down. I live for those times, I love to be inspired to create, grow, and one day make something so wonderful, it inspires another. I can only imagine how fulfilling that must be!

Check out this video of Beyonce', it was an interlude during her I Am....tour! I had the pleasure of attending her concert (in LA) and when I saw her costume, I went B-A-N-A-N-A-S.

I can't begin to tell you how giddy I was when I found this video online. After watching this 5 0r so times [STRAIGHT], my brain was bursting with creativity; he-l-lo information overload! Neurons were firing, and light bulbs were flashing in my head. I decided to design a few futuristic pieces fabricated from metal.....I am going to put pencil to paper, and complete some sketches in the next few days! Stay Tuned!!
